Quantic is led by Oliver Gryce, a Chartered Accountant with over twelve years of experience as a dedicated valuation specialist.

Ollie spent ten years as a valuer in Big 4 advisory firms, first in KPMG’s Tax Valuations team and then in PWC’s Technology, Media and Telecom Valuations team. He was subsequently a director at Touchstone Advisory, a leading valuation boutique.

Over the course of his career, Ollie has developed a passion for with working with technology and other high-growth businesses. He has delivered valuation advice on over $100bn of deals, ranging from seed funding to several of the largest UK tech IPOs.

Ollie is widely recognised for his expertise in valuation matters relating to share schemes, derivatives, and other complex assets.

A selection of his valuation experience includes:

Financial reporting valuations of financial instruments and share-based payments across a wide range of sectors and structures, under IFRS, UK FRS and US GAAP.
Management incentive plan valuations for UK, US, and various European tax purposes across numerous private equity- and venture capital-backed businesses.
Tax valuations of shares and share options in early-stage technology businesses, including incentive schemes such as EMI and CSOP.
Intellectual property valuations to support venture funding and for financial reporting purposes.
Valuations of warrants and other derivatives in Special Purpose Acquisition Company structures.
Delivering fairness opinions in relation to the sale of various technology and telecom assets.
Buy-side valuation support on pricing negotiations and the diligence of historic tax valuations in relation to the acquisition of technology and media assets.
Delivering training seminars and workshops to various businesses and fellow valuation professionals on topics such as start-up valuations, share-based payment financial reporting, option pricing methods and minority discounts.

Ollie holds a Masters in Mathematics from the University of Bristol.
